My aim is to locate the primary holding patterns within your body and to bring your whole body back into balance and harmony, into homeostasis. Freeing up compensations patterns allows your body to focus on more important tasks, such as digestion and immune defence.

Did you know that using particular subtle and non-invasive bodywork therapy techniques prompts a natural unravelling of constricted muscles and tissues? This approach will resolve deep restrictions and unhealthy compensations, whilst encouraging your body’s ability to restore itself back to health; using its own self correcting abilities.

I combine integrative fascia release therapies and breath work to assist with:

  • Decongesting and building a stronger immune system.
  • Improving your central nervous system for development, growth and repair.
  • Increasing the efficiency and function of your internal organs.
  • Easing chronic musculoskeletal pain.
  • Reclaiming your health with balanced breathing.
  • Achieving mind, body, and soul equanimity.

I do love a challenge! I have experience with persistent and chronic ailments, helping with a range of discomforts such as:

  • Ear, nose and throat problems
  • Chronic musculoskeletal pain
  • Digestive disorders
  • Endometriosis
  • Hormonal imbalances
  • Cancer
  • Migraine headaches
  • Heart burn
  • Chronic fatigue
  • Scoliosis
  • Growing pains
  • Lymphoedema

Fascia (connective tissue) is what holds your body together. It wraps around muscles, vessels, the spinal cord, and intertwines around all of your organs. Fascia is where your nerve receptors connect into to feed stimuli response back to your brain. When your brain receives messages from your body of muscle aches, the pain is more often than not resulting from tight fascia, not tight muscles. Secondly, where you are feeling the pain isn’t at times where the tension is originating from. Referral pain is when for example, tension around the lower right ribs transfers a tissue restriction pattern to the right shoulder and neck, causing that area to ache and/or to have limited range of movement.

To be able to unlock tight fascia it responds best to subtle engagement techniques. By listening to your connective tissue restriction patterns, it easy to nudge them into a release of natural unravelling without causing a guarding sympathetic nervous response, and further pain.

I’ve been a qualified Lymphatic Drainage and Remedial Massage Therapist since 2001. Undertaking training in CranioSacral Therapy (Upledger Institute) helped me discover my passion of using bodywork therapies that facilitate in nudging the body to use its own self healing abilities. Adding to this is Visceral Manipulation (Barral Institute) and Lymph Drainage (Chikly Health Institute); all of which tap into the deep structures of the body unravelling tension by using quick and efficient techniques, bringing the body back into tune.

Certifications held in:

Visceral, Neural & Vascular Manipulation, Manual Articulation, CranioSacral Therapy, SomatoEmotional Release, Decongestive Lymphatic Therapy, Chikly Lymph Drainage Therapy, Buteyko Breathing, mBraining, Oncology Massage, Positional Release Therapy, Pregnancy Massage, Infant and Baby Massage, Access Consciousness 'The Bars', Theta Healing and Energy Healing.
